About the Role
Join IOTA Group, a leading Swiss HR and technical solutions provider with 27 years of international expertise, as a Senior Fluids Supervisor. You will oversee critical drilling and completion operations, ensuring compliance with Nigerian regulatory standards while optimizing costs and operational efficiency on offshore drilling rigs.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and monitor drilling fluids, cementing, and waste management operations at rig sites
- Interface with rig contractors to ensure equipment and services meet operational requirements
- Execute fluids and cement programs in line with onshore superintendent directives
- Oversee critical operations including cementing, mud displacements, and specialized testing procedures
- Ensure strict adherence to company standards, DPR guidelines, and EGASPIN requirements
- Prepare accurate and timely rig-site reports and post-job documentation
- Supervise solids control and waste treatment services while maintaining environmental compliance
- Coordinate logistics with onshore base regarding supplies and equipment provisioning
- Monitor contractor performance and drive service quality improvements
- Promote HSE best practices and ensure all personnel understand their safety responsibilities
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering
- Minimum 7 years professional experience in drilling fluids, cementing, and waste management
- Current IWCF, BOSIET, and Medical certifications
- Fluent in English; French language skills advantageous
- Strong knowledge of DPR and environmental regulations
