About the Role

We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Gas Cutter / Welder to join our growing technical operations team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play an essential part in executing high-standard cutting and welding operations, contributing directly to our heavy lifting and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Operate gas cutting and welding equipment efficiently and safely in alignment with project specifications.
- Select and install the appropriate cutting and welding nozzles for various project requirements.
- Accurately adjust gas pressures and establish the correct flame to ensure precision cuts and welds.
- Collaborate with crane and heavy-lifting teams to support structural fabrication and maintenance tasks.
- Adhere strictly to site safety guidelines, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
- Inspect equipment regularly to maintain optimal working conditions and report any faults promptly.
- Basic education is required; a formal technical qualification or trade certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of total crane or heavy lifting industry experience.
- At least 2 years of practical experience specifically coordinating or supervising crane and heavy lifting operations.
- Demonstrated essential practical competence in gas selection, flame adjustment, and cutting/welding nozzle management.
