We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Senior Engineer - Production to oversee our plant operations, ensuring optimal efficiency, stringent safety standards, and superior product quality across our manufacturing lines.
Key Responsibilities- Execute the shift-based operation of Raw Mills, Kilns, Cement Mills, Coal Mills, and auxiliary equipment from the Central Control Room (CCR).
- Coach, mentor, and train newly hired CCR operators to support operational initiatives, increase output, and reduce production costs.
- Coordinate autonomous maintenance activities with shift patrollers to achieve targeted plant availability for raw meal, clinker, and cement production.
- Troubleshoot complex operational problems promptly to ensure the continuous and sustained running of plant equipment.
- Drive optimum fuel efficiency, reduce power consumption, and maximize workforce utilization across the department.
- Ensure strict implementation of ISO systems and safety standards within the production department.
- Verify that all outgoing products from the department strictly conform to internal quality specifications.
- Assess individual self-development needs and proactively pursue targeted improvement areas.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 9 years of hands-on cement plant experience in a production or process control environment.
- Strong leadership qualities with proven experience in coordinating, supervising, and training technical teams.
