About the Role
Colourbox Early Learning Hub, a premier early childhood care center in Opebi, Lagos, is recruiting a dedicated Senior Early Years Practitioner to join our growing team. This is a full-time, room-based position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's development while working within a supportive, quality-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to children aged 0–5 years within your allocated room
- Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment aligned with EYFS standards
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental milestones
- Manage daily routines including mealtimes, personal care, and sleep schedules
- Build meaningful relationships with children and their families through effective communication
- Uphold safeguarding, health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times
- Collaborate effectively with room and nursery team members
- Demonstrate initiative and contribute to the continuous improvement of the setting
- Proven experience working with children aged 0–5 in a nursery, crèche, or preschool setting
- NCE or recognized Early Years qualification
- Strong understanding of EYFS framework and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, responsibility, and commitment to high-quality practice standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Resident within the Ikeja axis with reliable commute to Opebi
- Available to work 7:30 AM–6:00 PM daily
