About the Role

Colourbox Early Learning Hub, a premier early childhood care center in Opebi, Lagos, is recruiting a dedicated Senior Early Years Practitioner to join our growing team. This is a full-time, room-based position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's development while working within a supportive, quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to children aged 0–5 years within your allocated room
  • Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment aligned with EYFS standards
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental milestones
  • Manage daily routines including mealtimes, personal care, and sleep schedules
  • Build meaningful relationships with children and their families through effective communication
  • Uphold safeguarding, health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times
  • Collaborate effectively with room and nursery team members
  • Demonstrate initiative and contribute to the continuous improvement of the setting
Qualifications
  • Proven experience working with children aged 0–5 in a nursery, crèche, or preschool setting
  • NCE or recognized Early Years qualification
  • Strong understanding of EYFS framework and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, responsibility, and commitment to high-quality practice standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Resident within the Ikeja axis with reliable commute to Opebi
  • Available to work 7:30 AM–6:00 PM daily
