About the Role
BBC Media Action is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Digital Producer to lead the design and production of a comprehensive digital strategy for a multi-component Social and Behaviour Change Communication programme focused on reproductive health and child spacing in Northern Nigeria. This two-year role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your digital expertise and editorial judgement to extend powerful storytelling from traditional broadcast formats into engaging digital, social media, and interactive channels.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end design, planning, and delivery of multi-platform digital outputs, integrating broadcast and digital content.
- Drive digital content strategy and platform optimisation using audience insights and analytics to maximise behavioural impact.
- Develop cohesive multi-platform narratives ensuring consistency across digital, radio, and community touchpoints.
- Line manage and provide technical oversight to digital production team members, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Collaborate with strategy and research teams to translate behavioural objectives into compelling, insight-driven digital content.
- Direct studio and field recordings while ensuring strict adherence to BBC editorial guidelines, compliance, and data protection.
- Proven experience producing engaging and creative content across diverse digital platforms and social media channels.
- Demonstrable experience leading multimedia production teams and providing editorial oversight.
- In-depth understanding of Nigeria's digital and social media landscape across various audience segments.
- Creative writing proficiency in both English and Hausa, tailored for diverse audiences.
- Strong editorial judgment aligned with BBC values and standards, backed by the use of analytics to refine content.
