About the Role
DLM Capital Group is a leading Development Investment Bank dedicated to providing innovative financial solutions that drive economic and social development across key sectors in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a talented and driven Senior DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing technology team in Lagos. In this pivotal role, you will architect, scale, and secure our cloud infrastructure, ensuring our digital banking and financial services platforms operate seamlessly, securely, and with maximum uptime. You will work closely with software engineering and product teams to accelerate deployment pipelines and champion modern infrastructure-as-code practices.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain 99.9% or higher uptime for all critical production systems and applications.
- Ensure 100% of infrastructure changes are provisioned and managed through Terraform.
- Respond promptly to critical system alerts within 5 to 10 minutes, maintaining a low Mean Time to Resolution.
- Automate 80 to 90 percent of manual, repetitive operational tasks to boost team efficiency.
- Implement and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Monitor system health and performance proactively utilizing Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency and proven enterprise experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities coupled with excellent scripting skills in Python and Bash.
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies including Docker.
- Willingness and availability to participate in on-call incident response rotations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
