About the Role
Vennote Technologies Limited, a well-established global ICT leader with over two decades of excellence in enterprise solutions, is seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, architecting predictive and prescriptive analytical models, and spearheading the development of cutting-edge NLP-powered chatbots to elevate customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Build and deploy descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytical data models to solve complex business challenges.
- Design, train, and optimize advanced NLP and chatbot models using frameworks like Rasa, Dialogflow, or Amazon Lex, leveraging transformers and recurrent neural networks.
- Develop scalable ETL pipelines, write complex SQL queries in BigQuery, and validate data across development and production environments.
- Connect diverse data sources to Google Data Studio, build insightful visualizations, and monitor Google Cloud metrics.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and UX teams to write user stories, define analytics requirements, and draft comprehensive technical documentation.
- Manage the complete machine learning lifecycle with an agile product mentality, balancing high precision with rapid value delivery.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in building and deploying advanced analytical data models.
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Jupyter, Pandas, and Dask.
- Extensive expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP techniques, and cloud platforms like Google Cloud (BigQuery, PubSub, DataFlow) and Google Data Studio.
