Resurgir Consulting is partnering with a reputable educational institution to recruit a dedicated and dynamic Senior Class Mathematics Teacher in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping students' academic success by delivering inspiring Mathematics lessons, fostering critical thinking, and ensuring students are thoroughly prepared for crucial external examinations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons in line with the approved school curriculum.
- Prepare senior-class students thoroughly for internal and external examinations.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Monitor and evaluate students' academic performance while providing targeted support.
- Maintain proper records of student attendance, grades, and continuous assessments.
- Establish positive classroom discipline and cultivate an engaging learning environment.
- Encourage critical thinking and practical real-world applications of mathematical concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management to elevate overall academic outcomes.
- Participate actively in school meetings, professional training, and extracurricular activities.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant teaching experience, specifically with senior secondary classes.
- Demonstrated mastery of Mathematics with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Exceptional classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
