In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping students' academic success by delivering inspiring Mathematics lessons, fostering critical thinking, and ensuring students are thoroughly prepared for crucial external examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons in line with the approved school curriculum.
  • Prepare senior-class students thoroughly for internal and external examinations.
  • Develop comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
  • Monitor and evaluate students' academic performance while providing targeted support.
  • Maintain proper records of student attendance, grades, and continuous assessments.
  • Establish positive classroom discipline and cultivate an engaging learning environment.
  • Encourage critical thinking and practical real-world applications of mathematical concepts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school management to elevate overall academic outcomes.
  • Participate actively in school meetings, professional training, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant teaching experience, specifically with senior secondary classes.
  • Demonstrated mastery of Mathematics with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Exceptional classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully preparing students for major examinations.
