About the Role
International Energy Services Limited (IESL) is a premier multidisciplinary energy services company established in 1990. We deliver innovative engineering, procurement, and construction solutions across the oil and gas sector. We are currently looking for a dynamic Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our expert team in Lagos on a full-time, on-site basis to drive excellence in our upcoming infrastructure and energy developments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead comprehensive civil and structural engineering design and analysis for complex energy-related projects.
- Develop, review, and approve structural calculations, engineering drawings, and detailed technical specifications.
- Ensure total compliance with local and international engineering codes, standards, and stringent HSE regulations.
- Coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary project teams and provide expert technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Conduct critical site visits, perform structural assessments, and resolve site queries during construction phases.
- Collaborate closely with clients, preparing robust technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Active professional engineering registration, such as COREN certification.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant civil and structural engineering experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in FEED, detailed engineering, steelwork design, and heavy equipment foundations.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard structural analysis and civil design software.
- Proven track record in technical supervision, multidisciplinary coordination, and successful project delivery.
