About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automatic and semi-automatic capsule filling machines efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Perform regular cleaning, sterilization, and routine maintenance of capsule filling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations at all times.
- Conduct accurate in-process quality checks, including weight variation, lock length, and shell integrity, recording data meticulously.
- Coordinate with the quality assurance and maintenance teams to promptly resolve mechanical issues and minimize production downtime.
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior operators and production assistants on the shop floor to foster a culture of safety and precision.
- Maintain proper documentation of batch records, material usage, and equipment logs in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on working experience as a Capsule Filling Operator within a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Possession of relevant academic qualifications in Science, Pharmacy Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, specifically solid oral dosage production.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot machinery, read technical manuals, and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent record-keeping skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
