Reliance HMO is a fast-growing health insurance and technology company leveraging software, data science, and telemedicine to make healthcare more accessible and affordable in Nigeria. We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Senior Associate Nursing Officer to join our team in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Associate Nursing Officer, you will lead our nursing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate healthcare delivery. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, supervising, and mentoring the nursing team to deliver high-standard, patient-centered care.
  • Providing expert clinical guidance on patient assessments, complex cases, and preventive care programs like immunizations.
  • Collaborating closely with medical doctors and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Managing staff performance, developing duty rosters, and supporting recruitment and onboarding.
  • Driving quality improvement initiatives, conducting clinical audits, and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Overseeing clinical inventory, medications, and equipment while maintaining accurate documentation in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc.) with a current and valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) Practicing License.
  • Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or possession of a valid Certificate of Exemption.
  • Minimum of 4 years of post-NYSC clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are strong advantages.
