About the Role
Craneburg Construction Company, one of Nigeria's largest and most diversified private construction groups, is seeking a talented and driven Senior Architect to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead architectural design and project delivery from concept to completion, ensuring every build meets our rigorous standards for quality, innovation, and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, design, and development of high-profile architectural projects from initial concept to final handover.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate comprehensive architectural drawings and technical specifications with structural, MEP, and civil engineering teams.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide junior architects, CAD technicians, and design support staff.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction quality and ensure strict adherence to approved designs.
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and key regulatory stakeholders.
- Resolve design complexities with practical, cost-effective solutions while ensuring compliance with Nigerian building codes and international standards.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Mandatory professional registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) or an equivalent recognized body.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive architectural experience, with a strong portfolio in large-scale building and construction projects.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3D modeling tools.
