About the Role
Reddington Hospital, a leading multi-specialist tertiary healthcare provider in Victoria Island, Lagos, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial accounting and reporting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and implementing effective financial controls to support our continued medical excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to guide management decisions.
- Maintain and oversee general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and comprehensive accounting records.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and overall cash flow activities.
- Assist in the development and execution of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities by providing accurate financial documentation and schedules.
- Strengthen financial controls and continuously improve accounting processes and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA or ACCA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting and financial management experience.
- Prior working experience within the healthcare sector is an added advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in modern accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
