About the Role
Ginos Ventures Limited is a leading indigenous distributor of medical consumables and devices across Africa, partnering with over 15 multinational healthcare companies to serve institutions nationwide. We are currently looking for a diligent and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee key financial operations, maintain financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and provide valuable insights to support our continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, alongside monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies, including timely tax filings.
- Manage payroll processing and monitor all day-to-day financial transactions.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide actionable insights, monitor budgets, and manage cash flow activities.
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes seamlessly.
- Implement and continuously improve accounting systems, processes, and robust financial controls.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior accounting staff as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or ICAN is strongly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with unwavering integrity and attention to detail.
- Must reside in Abuja, and the ability to drive will be an added advantage.
