About the Role
Abuja Clinics, a leading healthcare institution established in 1989 with branches across Karu, Garki, and Maitama, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will play an essential part in maintaining our financial health, ensuring seamless accounting operations, and supporting our mission of delivering top-tier medical services across the Federal Capital Territory.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinating daily accounting functions and maintaining general ledger accounts.
- Preparing comprehensive financial analyses, reports, and revenue projections.
- Forecasting expenditures and assisting with the preparation and monitoring of organizational budgets.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts accurately and efficiently.
- Assisting with annual audit preparations and resolving audit findings or account discrepancies.
- Investigating and resolving issues of financial non-compliance.
- Performing other related accounting duties to support financial management.
- Possession of an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 6 to 9 years of total working experience as a chartered accountant.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-ICAN certification experience.
- Thorough working knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
- Strong administrative skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and operate both independently and collaboratively.
