About the Role
Quality Foods Africa is building quality fast and nutritious food businesses with a bold pan-African ambition. Our mission is to provide global standards of dining experience, hygiene, and service quality to Africa's consumers. We are currently seeking a meticulous and driven Senior Account Officer to strengthen our finance team and support our rapid expansion across multiple sites in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial transactions and comprehensive accounting records.
- Prepare journal entries, invoices, payments, accruals, and other vital accounting documents.
- Perform regular bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Monitor, review, and properly allocate operational expenses.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities efficiently.
- Review financial transactions and proactively resolve any accounting discrepancies.
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and detailed financial analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal accounting policies and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and secure filing systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an accounting or similar financial role.
- Prior working experience in QSR, retail, FMCG, hospitality, or multi-site businesses is a distinct advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of general accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting or ERP software.
- Active progress toward or completion of ICAN, ACCA, or other relevant professional certifications.
