About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically rigorous Security & Technology Risk Analyst to join our Information Security Assurance Team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying, monitoring, and reporting on security and technology operational risks across our rapidly expanding fintech ecosystem, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across cloud, network, infrastructure, and product domains using NIST and FAIR frameworks.
- Perform Business Impact Analysis (BIA) on critical systems to determine Recovery Time Objectives and Recovery Point Objectives.
- Administer and maintain the security risk register with current records to support internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, prioritize, and execute risk treatment plans aligned with enterprise risk appetite.
- Design quantifiable risk metrics and dashboards for executive decision-making and continuous monitoring.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards including ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and NDPA.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in operational, cybersecurity, or technology risk assessment.
- Demonstrated expertise in threat analysis, risk methodologies, and business continuity principles.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, or equivalent.
- Must have completed B.Sc. and NYSC or possess a valid exemption certificate.
