About the Role
Strivo Labs is seeking a confident and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our technology function and drive the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions. In this hands-on leadership role, you will define our technical direction, mentor high-performing engineers, and collaborate with executive leadership to translate business goals into reliable technology products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and mentor engineering teams across multiple high-impact projects.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of major engineering projects from architecture to deployment.
- Establish robust engineering standards, best practices, and agile delivery methodologies.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and compliant with relevant financial and data protection regulations.
- Manage technical risks, oversee code quality, and drive continuous improvement across infrastructure.
- Provide regular strategic updates to executive leadership regarding engineering performance and technology roadmap.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in technical leadership.
- Proven track record of designing and scaling production-grade applications in regulated industries like fintech.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and modern security practices.
- Assertive leadership style with the ability to challenge unrealistic timelines, manage difficult conversations, and hold teams accountable.
