About the Role
Steron Mining Company Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our operations in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily security operations, managing security personnel, and ensuring the absolute safety of our personnel, equipment, and mineral assets in a demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the deployment of security personnel across all site posts and access points.
- Enforce strict access control, visitor management, and comprehensive site surveillance protocols.
- Conduct thorough security risk assessments, threat identifications, and proactive incident investigations.
- Lead emergency response, crisis management, and coordinate effectively with external law enforcement agencies including the Police and NSCDC.
- Maintain accurate daily security logs, patrol schedules, and detailed incident reporting records.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, B.Sc. or equivalent academic qualification; relevant security certifications are a strong advantage.
- Must possess a solid para-military background, such as previous service in the Police Force or NSCDC.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in security operations, ideally within mining, construction, industrial, or remote-site environments.
- Demonstrated core competencies in leadership, threat mitigation, integrity, and strict adherence to confidentiality.
