About the Role
Goldenville Montessori School was founded in January 2008 with a vision to be a citadel of learning and moral excellence, raising a new generation of leaders who will impact the world positively. We are currently seeking a reliable, vigilant, and professional Security Personnel to join our dedicated support team in safeguarding our school premises, students, and staff. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining a secure, peaceful, and orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor school premises, gates, and perimeter fences to prevent unauthorized access and potential security breaches.
- Manage visitor access by screening guests, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining accurate entry and exit logs.
- Conduct routine patrols of the school grounds, buildings, and facilities during and after school hours.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action and reporting to school management.
- Direct traffic flow and ensure the safe arrival and departure of students, parents, and staff vehicles.
- Collaborate with local security agencies and emergency services when necessary to maintain campus safety.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent educational qualification with relevant security training or certifications.
- Proven working experience as a security guard, preferably within an educational institution or similar environment.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism, high integrity, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic tech-savviness and familiarity with modern security gadgets or CCTV monitoring is an added advantage.
