About the Role
Hotel Capitol, a premier three-star hospitality destination located in the heart of Omole Phase 1, Lagos, is currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Personnel to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our guests, staff, property, and assets, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and secure environment across our modern 28-room facility.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and authorize the entry of employees, guests, and visitors while preventing unauthorized access to the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel grounds and facilities to detect potential security risks, intrusions, or property damage.
- Monitor surveillance systems, alarm panels, and security equipment to identify unusual occurrences or emergencies.
- Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, and guest or staff disturbances with professionalism and tact.
- Enforce hotel safety policies, fire prevention protocols, and access control measures consistently.
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs and write comprehensive incident reports regarding any irregularities or accidents.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, SSCE, or equivalent educational qualification.
- Proven professional experience working as a security guard, hotel security officer, or in a relevant protective services role.
- Strong understanding of public safety, emergency response, and security protocols.
- Excellent observation skills, high integrity, and a detail-oriented approach to duties.
- Physical fitness and stamina to stand or walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Reside in close proximity to the hotel, specifically around Ogba, Agege, Ojota, Ketu, Ojodu Berger, Akute, or Ikeja axes.
