We are currently seeking a vigilant, dependable, and professional Security Officer to join our team and ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain round-the-clock physical security and surveillance across designated hospital premises to deter unauthorized access and criminal activities.
  • Monitor access control points, verifying the identity of staff, visitors, and vendors entering the hospital grounds.
  • Respond promptly to security alarms, distress calls, and emergency situations, taking swift and appropriate action.
  • Collaborate effectively with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders when incidents require escalation.
  • Maintain detailed daily incident logs, security reports, and visitor records with utmost discretion and confidentiality.
  • Enforce hospital security policies, parking regulations, and safety protocols professionally and cordially.
  • Conduct routine patrols of buildings, perimeters, and parking areas to identify potential safety hazards or security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an SSCE qualification, with additional security certifications considered an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of proven security experience, preferably within a healthcare or corporate environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a cordial, patient, and approachable demeanor.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Possession of problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a technical mindset regarding modern security systems.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, flexible, strong-willed, and physically fit with a positive, proactive attitude toward work.
