About the Role
Akiavic Blue Roof Hotel, a prestigious family-run boutique hotel situated at 237 Brigadier Ademulegun Road in Ondo City, Ondo State, is currently seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all our esteemed guests and employees, safeguarding hotel premises against unauthorized access, theft, and other security risks.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor hotel premises, including entrances, parking lots, and common areas, to maintain a secure environment.
- Control access to the hotel, screening visitors and guests professionally and courteously.
- Conduct regular patrol rounds throughout the property to detect and prevent potential security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, taking appropriate action and notifying management.
- Maintain accurate logs of all daily security activities, incidents, and visitor movements.
- Collaborate effectively with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Enforce hotel safety and security policies consistently across the establishment.
- Possess relevant educational qualifications and formal security training certifications.
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer, preferably within the hospitality industry or a similar service-oriented environment.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior or potential hazards quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and staff calmly and assertively.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Must reside in or be willing to commute to Ondo City, Ondo State.
