About the Role
Dangote Industries Limited is currently seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to join our team in Ibese, Ogun State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in protecting our personnel, property, and assets while upholding our high standards of corporate safety.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the premises to ensure total safety and compliance with security protocols.
- Monitor property entrances and exits, carefully authorizing entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
- Identify, intercept, and report suspicious behaviors, security breaches, or unusual incidents promptly.
- Secure all doors, windows, and perimeter gates to maintain the structural and physical integrity of the property.
- Operate and oversee surveillance camera systems, ensuring all critical zones are monitored effectively around the clock.
- Respond swiftly to alarms and security emergencies, implementing appropriate de-escalation or containment measures.
- Assist employees, visitors, and contractors requiring guidance, information, or support on the premises.
- Compile and submit detailed, accurate daily logs and incident reports concerning surveillance activities and occurrences.
- Minimum of an SSCE certificate from a recognized institution.
- Must be a bonafide member of the local Ibese community.
- Sound understanding of legal guidelines for area security, access control, and public safety.
- Proven report-writing experience coupled with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding observation, vigilance, and surveillance skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Formal training in First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and self-defense techniques.
