About the Role
Dangote Cement, a subsidiary of the prestigious Dangote Group, is currently looking for a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our operations at DCT Gboko. As a key player in Africa's largest industrial conglomerate, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities, personnel, and assets while upholding our strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control access to the premises to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned industrial areas to maintain security and deter illegal activities.
- Respond promptly to security alarms, incidents, and emergencies, initiating appropriate actions and reporting to supervisors.
- Monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment, reporting any suspicious activities immediately.
- Enforce company security policies, procedures, and safety regulations across the facility.
- Prepare accurate and detailed daily logs, incident reports, and irregularity documentation.
- Collaborate professionally with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Guide and assist employees and visitors regarding security and access procedures.
- Minimum of an OND or HND in Security Management, Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in security services, preferably within an industrial or corporate environment.
- Prior experience in the military, police, or specialized security services will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong physical fitness, alertness, and the ability to remain calm during emergencies.
- Familiarity with modern security systems, including CCTV operations and access control technologies.
