About the Role
The Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our personnel, facilities, and assets while upholding the highest standards of safety and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections and patrols of premises to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor property entrances, authorizing entry for authorized personnel and vehicles as needed.
- Identify and report suspicious behaviors, safety hazards, or security incidents promptly.
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows to maintain the physical integrity of the property.
- Oversee surveillance cameras, ensuring all strategic areas are monitored effectively.
- Respond swiftly to alarms and security incidents, implementing appropriate emergency measures.
- Assist visitors and employees requiring support or guidance on the premises.
- Compile and submit detailed reports of daily surveillance activities and any unusual occurrences.
- Minimum of an SSCE certificate.
- Must be a member of the local community.
- Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
- Proven report writing experience with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, surveillance, and observation skills.
- Prior training in First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and self-defense is a strong advantage.
