We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team and maintain safety across our clients' premises. In this role, you will play a crucial part in deterring unauthorized access, protecting assets, and ensuring a secure working environment for all employees and visitors. Key Responsibilities- Patrol and monitor activities on the company premises regularly to deter criminal activity and ensure a safe, secure environment.
- Control the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles in strict compliance with organizational security protocols.
- Manage trespassers and rule violators appropriately, detaining perpetrators while adhering strictly to legal protocols until law enforcement arrives.
- Maintain comprehensive logs and provide detailed written reports on daily shift activities and any security incidents to management.
- Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious behaviors with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent professional security training certification.
- Proven work experience as a Security Guard, Watchman, or in a relevant safety role within the Nigerian context.
- Strong observation skills with high physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Basic understanding of legal protocols regarding detention, trespass, and emergency response procedures.
