About the Role
Are you a passionate creative looking to use your design skills for social good and meaningful community impact? The Medicaid Cancer Foundation (MCF) is seeking talented and dedicated Volunteer Graphic Designers to support our upcoming WalkAway Cancer Awareness Walk. Founded in 2014, MCF provides a vital support system for cancer patients, families, and caregivers across Nigeria who struggle to raise funds for treatment and cope with the emotional toll of the disease. By lending your creative expertise, you will help us amplify our message, inspire hope, and drive critical cancer awareness campaigns across various digital and print platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Design engaging graphics, flyers, banners, and social media assets for the WalkAway Cancer Awareness Walk and other MCF initiatives.
- Translate complex public health messages into clear, visually compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Collaborate closely with the communications and public relations teams to maintain brand consistency across all campaign materials.
- Prepare digital assets for multiple platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and email newsletters.
- Design print-ready materials such as T-shirts, banners, brochures, and event signage as needed.
- Proven experience as a graphic designer, illustrator, or visual artist with a strong portfolio showcasing creative projects.
- Proficiency in standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and digital design best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced team environment.
