About the Role
Stanbic IBTC Bank is looking for an experienced Sector Head of Consumer Client Coverage to lead our client capability department in Nigeria. In this executive role, you will independently manage a portfolio of complex clients, act as a trusted C-suite advisor, and drive revenue targets while managing risk and delivering an exceptional client experience across the end-to-end engagement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead department client capabilities, managing and growing a portfolio of complex consumer clients and internal relationships.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, negotiating change and coordinating the origination of client-centric banking solutions.
- Drive complex deals through the organization, motivating cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve revenue growth.
- Serve as the first line of defense by identifying and managing potential risks, credit exposures, and operational losses.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing client service team, promoting personal and professional growth while aligning with diversity and inclusion goals.
- First Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- 12 to 15 years of extensive experience in relationship management and client coverage within the financial sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading cross-functional deal teams, risk management, and financial valuation analysis.
