About the Role
Watford Spring School is a prominent, government-approved co-educational private school located in Usiefrun, Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary Teacher to join our dynamic academic team and contribute to our mission of academic and moral excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive secondary school lessons in accordance with the Nigerian curriculum and school standards.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, safe, and conducive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff professional development, and school extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and colleagues to support the holistic development of every student.
- Possession of a relevant Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed, B.Sc.Ed, B.A.Ed) or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject coupled with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience within a recognized secondary school setting.
- Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage.
