Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive secondary school lessons in accordance with the Nigerian curriculum and school standards.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, safe, and conducive learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, staff professional development, and school extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and colleagues to support the holistic development of every student.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a relevant Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed, B.Sc.Ed, B.A.Ed) or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject coupled with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience within a recognized secondary school setting.
  • Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and upholding high moral standards.
