In this role, you will shape young minds by instilling vital commercial, financial, and entrepreneurial knowledge within a stimulating academic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver comprehensive Business Studies lessons aligned with the approved curriculum, covering commerce, bookkeeping, office practice, and entrepreneurship.
- Develop innovative lesson plans that foster critical thinking, financial literacy, and real-world problem-solving skills among secondary school students.
- Assess student progress regularly, maintain accurate performance records, and provide constructive, growth-oriented feedback.
- Prepare students effectively for local and international examinations, including BECE, WAEC, and NECO.
- Utilize interactive teaching methods, practical examples, and contemporary business scenarios to drive student engagement and comprehension.
- Encourage leadership, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset through curricular and co-curricular activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Education, Business Administration, Economics, Management, Education, or a related discipline.
- Relevant teaching certification and possession of TRCN certification will be strong advantages.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary school level.
- Familiarity with both the Nigerian curriculum and Cambridge curricula is highly preferred.
