Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated French lessons catering to diverse learning needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative evaluations, offering constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to French curriculum development, aligning with external examination standards.
  • Organize French clubs and enrichment activities to foster a love for the language beyond the classroom.
  • Maintain a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, SEN support staff, and school leadership to support student success.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development.
  • Integrate digital tools and educational technology into daily French instruction.
  • Participate actively in continuous professional development and school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
  • Recognized teaching certification (PGCE, PGDE, TRCN license, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching French at the secondary school level within a British or international curriculum setting.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies in an educational environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and technological integration skills.
