About the Role
Growth in Value Alliance (GV Alliance) Partners is a premier business advisory, market intelligence, and recruitment firm dedicated to helping organizations achieve their growth aspirations through applied innovation and operational excellence. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master to join our growing team in Nigeria and facilitate seamless project delivery for our diverse clients.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Guide and coach the cross-functional team on Agile and Scrum principles, values, and best practices.
- Remove impediments and proactively resolve blockers impacting delivery schedules.
- Shield the team from external interruptions and manage stakeholder interference effectively.
- Track sprint metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and overall team performance.
- Support continuous improvement through insightful retrospectives and actionable insights.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure backlog readiness, refinement, and prioritization.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and collaboration within a self-organizing team environment.
- Identify project risks and escalate issues appropriately when necessary.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience operating in a Scrum Master or Agile role.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies, frameworks, and ceremonies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
