We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Sciences Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators in Abuja.

As a Sciences Teacher at Olivefield Schools, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds and fostering a deep appreciation for scientific inquiry. Your core duties will include:

• Delivering engaging, high-quality science lessons in accordance with both the NERDC and British curricula.
• Preparing comprehensive lesson plans, teaching aids, and instructional materials to suit diverse learning styles.
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and curiosity.
• Upholding and promoting the school's commitment to Islamic values, discipline, and moral uprightness.
• Participating actively in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, extracurricular activities, and school events.

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed), BSc in a science-related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven teaching experience within a reputable primary or secondary school setting.
• Strong, up-to-date subject knowledge in General Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
• A demonstrable passion for teaching, student mentoring, and holistic youth development.
• Active commitment to maintaining Islamic values, ethics, and school discipline.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively as a team player with a positive attitude.
