About the Role
Tehillah School, a reputable Christian nursery and primary educational institution located in Independence Layout, Enugu, is looking for a passionate and qualified Science Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. Since our establishment in September 2010, we have been committed to providing holistic education from daycare up to Grade 6. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who can foster a love for scientific inquiry among young learners while upholding our core Christian values.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons aligned with the primary school curriculum.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Integrate Christian principles and moral teachings into daily classroom interactions and lessons.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administration on curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student academic performance and behavioral development.
- Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc, or related qualification in Education or relevant sciences.
- Proven teaching experience in a primary school setting, preferably handling basic science.
- Strong passion for child development and education within a Christian framework.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Enugu State.
