Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive and engaging science lessons covering subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to junior and senior secondary students.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans in line with the national curriculum and educational standards of The Oasis Schools.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and curiosity.
- Conduct practical laboratory experiments to enhance students' theoretical understanding of scientific concepts.
- Participate in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development programs.
- Mentor and guide students in moral and academic matters, upholding the core values of the institution.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed), B.Sc in a science-related discipline with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), or equivalent professional teaching qualifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience within a recognized secondary school system.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian secondary school science curricula and modern pedagogical techniques.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- A demonstrated passion for teaching, student mentorship, and holistic child development.
- Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Ekpoma, Edo State, are strongly encouraged to apply.
