Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive English Language and Literature lessons aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to improve language proficiency.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations with a focus on high academic standards.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral development.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development workshops.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A.Ed), or B.A. in English Language or related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable primary or secondary school.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching with modern pedagogical approaches and interactive learning techniques.
- Good classroom management skills and the ability to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Valid TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) certification is an added advantage.
