As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dependable and professional School Driver to join our dedicated support staff and ensure the smooth daily commute of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport students to and from school, as well as on authorized school excursions and extra-curricular events.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, school safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques at all times.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking oil, water, tire pressure, brakes, and fuel levels.
- Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the school vehicle on a regular basis.
- Report any mechanical faults, maintenance needs, or accidents promptly to school management.
- Manage student behavior inside the vehicle to maintain a peaceful and secure environment.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent educational qualification.
- Possession of a valid and current professional driver's license (Class E or equivalent).
- Proven professional driving experience, preferably within a school or corporate setting in Ibadan.
- Exceptional knowledge of Ibadan routes, road networks, and traffic regulations.
- Strong defensive driving skills with a clean driving record and zero history of major traffic infractions.
- Punctual, patient, trustworthy, and possessing a friendly disposition towards children and parents.
- Good communication skills in English and Yoruba.
