About the Role
Word of Faith Group of Schools, a premier institution for Christian education in Africa, is seeking a visionary and spiritually grounded School Chaplain for our dynamic Abuja Campus. Serving a vibrant community of approximately 1,900 students and over 200 staff members, this crucial leadership role requires a mature shepherd and administrator dedicated to fostering a robust Christian environment. You will inspire students and staff to deepen their relationship with Scripture, model Christ-like character, and integrate faith into every aspect of school life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overarching spiritual direction, leadership, and pastoral oversight for the entire campus community.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute engaging chapel services, prayer meetings, Bible studies, and discipleship initiatives.
- Offer compassionate pastoral care, biblical counseling, and spiritual guidance to students, staff, and families.
- Collaborate closely with school leadership to ensure spiritual programs align with the core values and vision of the ministry.
- Manage administrative schedules, spiritual teams, and departmental programs efficiently and collaboratively.
- Must be a born-again Christian with an evident, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and unwavering integrity.
- Deeply grounded in Scripture with a proven ability to teach biblical truths clearly to children and adolescents.
- Demonstrated passion for youth ministry, evangelism, and the spiritual development of young people.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage large teams.
- Previous experience in pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, or Christian education leadership is strongly preferred.
