About the Role
Oxford Creative International Schools were founded with one purpose: to build a space for students to grow, learn, and create with each passing day. Through a unique teaching approach and a truly passionate staff, we also help students develop intellectually. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Bus Driver to join our vibrant school community in Nigeria, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our students to and from campus.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport students along designated school bus routes adhering to all traffic laws and school policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is clean, fueled, and in optimal mechanical condition.
- Maintain discipline and a safe environment among students while on board the vehicle.
- Report any mechanical issues, delays, or safety incidents immediately to school administration.
- Assist students with special needs or younger children during boarding and exiting the bus as required.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and student attendance when applicable.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional driving experience, preferably within a school or educational setting.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian driver's license and a relevant commercial driving certification/permit.
- Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents.
- Excellent knowledge of local traffic routes and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a friendly attitude when interacting with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to pass a background check and medical fitness evaluation.
