We are currently seeking a dedicated, warm, and reliable Female School Bus Assistant to join our supportive transport team in Benin City.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor student behavior throughout the journey to ensure absolute order, safety, and discipline.
- Assist children safely during boarding and alighting, ensuring secure handovers to designated parents or guardians.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and headcounts before departure and after arrival.
- Support younger children with seatbelts, bags, and comfort while ensuring they remain seated during transit.
- Communicate effectively with parents, the bus driver, and the school administration regarding any concerns or delays.
- Assist the driver during emergencies and strictly follow all established school safety protocols.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND qualification; first aid certification is an added advantage.
- Prior proven experience working with children in a school, daycare, or caregiving capacity.
- Female applicants only, with residency in Benin City strongly preferred.
- Exceptional patience, punctuality, honesty, and physical fitness to assist children.
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
