About the Role
Whip Smart Service Providers Limited is currently recruiting a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Representative for a reputable fabrics store located in Oshodi, Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving retail sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining an attractive, organized shopping environment. We are looking for a proactive individual with a passion for fashion and fabrics who can thrive in a fast-paced retail setting. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities- Attend to walk-in customers in a polite, professional, and engaging manner.
- Arrange, merchandise, and display fabrics attractively to capture customer interest.
- Handle sales transactions seamlessly, assist with product selection, and ensure proper packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shop environment at all times.
- Provide accurate and detailed product information regarding various fabrics.
- Record daily sales accurately and assist in tracking basic inventory movement.
- Support store management in achieving monthly sales targets and boosting customer satisfaction.
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, or HND qualification from a recognized institution.
- Must reside within or in close proximity to the Oshodi, Mushin, or Ikeja axis.
- Demonstrated honesty, strong work ethic, and respectful interpersonal demeanor.
- Prior experience in retail sales, textile businesses, or the fashion industry is a strong advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with great attention to visual merchandising detail.
