About the Role
Maybrands Limited, Nigeria's premier destination for luxury fashion accessories and the exclusive licensed retailer for global brands such as Fossil, Skagen, Emporio Armani, Diesel, Adidas, Michael Kors, DKNY, and Marc Jacobs, is looking for a driven Sales Associate or Trainee to join our retail team. In this role, you will represent our prestigious brands, engage with discerning clientele, and contribute to a sophisticated shopping experience that drives store performance and brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with clients on all sales matters, providing expert product information, detailing special discounts, and introducing new collections and company services.
- Deliver effective, efficient, and prompt customer service that exceeds expectations and builds long-term client relationships.
- Offer professional advice to customers, matching products to their personal needs and style preferences.
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, replenish display cabinets as required, and maintain spotless merchandising standards in alignment with brand Visual Merchandising guidelines.
- Process customer payments and issue receipts accurately using point-of-sale systems.
- Manage assigned shop floor stock with strict accountability and inventory control.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-NYSC work experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work well within a dynamic team.
- Impeccable personal presentation, neatness, and a friendly, approachable attitude.
- High willingness to learn, adapt to changing retail environments, and take on additional responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Information Technology, particularly with MS Word and Excel.
