About the Role
Avonix Place is a premier restaurant and luxury lounge located in the upscale Victoria Garden City (VGC) and Ajah area of Lekki, Lagos. We offer an exquisite fine and casual dining experience, featuring a carefully curated menu of both rich African delicacies and diverse intercontinental dishes. We are currently seeking a vibrant and dedicated Runner to join our exceptional hospitality team and help deliver world-class service to our esteemed clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Transport food and beverages promptly and safely from the kitchen and bar to the dining tables.
- Assist the waitstaff in setting up tables, clearing plates, and maintaining a clean dining environment.
- Greet guests warmly and ensure their immediate needs are met while awaiting their primary server.
- Communicate effectively between the kitchen staff and front-of-house team regarding order statuses and special dietary requests.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, grooming, and workplace safety in compliance with company policies.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc in any related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to task execution.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure luxury hospitality environment.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or lounge setting will be an added advantage.
