We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Robotic Teacher to join our dynamic faculty at our Orile, Agege campus in Lagos. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the minds of future innovators by introducing them to the fascinating world of robotics, coding, and engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging, hands-on robotics and coding lessons for students.
- Guide students through the design, building, and programming of robotic models using modern kits and software.
- Prepare students for local and international robotics competitions, exhibitions, and STEM fairs.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning paces.
- Maintain and manage the robotics laboratory equipment, ensuring a safe and functional learning environment.
- Collaborate with other STEM educators to integrate technology across various school curricula.
- Possess a relevant Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or a related STEM field.
- Proven experience in teaching robotics, coding, or STEM subjects to children and teenagers.
- Strong working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or block-based coding platforms.
- Familiarity with standard robotics hardware kits like LEGO Mindstorms, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
