We are currently seeking a proactive and analytical Risk Management Officer to plan, implement, and monitor our organizational risk management processes and programs. In this vital role, you will support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and advise on policies, processes, and procedures for managing operational risks across all company products, activities, processes, and systems.
  • Identify, assess, map, and prioritize operational risks inherent in all existing and new products prior to implementation.
  • Ensure robust business continuity and crisis management plans are in place, including periodic testing of contingency plans to minimize losses during disruptions.
  • Maintain and enhance enterprise-wide processes, methodologies, and data collection tools while providing communication and education on proper usage.
  • Establish self-testing programs to validate the operating effectiveness of internal controls and ensure adherence to laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Periodically review asset liability management (ALM) policies, liquidity policies, and guidelines for the company.
  • Measure and manage interest rate and price risks with oversight from the Asset/Liability Committee (ALCO).
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Enterprise Risk Management experience within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of a Second-Class Lower (2:2).
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CERA, FRM, CFA, ACCA, or ICAN will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks within the Nigerian financial sector.
