About the Role
Pacific International Drilling S.A. is a rapidly expanding global offshore drilling leader operating one of the world's newest and most technologically advanced ultra-deepwater drillship fleets. We combine the robust strength of a well-capitalized enterprise with the agility of a dedicated solution provider, serving top-tier oil and gas clients globally. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Rig Manager, Shore Base to join our growing team in Nigeria, providing onshore leadership for our high-specification operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert onshore leadership and direction to ensure all offshore operations strictly adhere to company safety, efficiency, and environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and clients to align shore base activities with operational requirements and customer expectations.
- Oversee administrative, financial, and compliance functions related to shore base operations.
- Champion Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives across all projects and foster a safety-first culture.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.), HND, OND, or SSCE/WAEC/GCE O-Level certification.
- Strong technical background encompassing drilling, well control, maintenance, and marine operations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing business administration aspects including finance, legal, compliance, human resources, and supply chain.
- Deep commitment to maintaining rigorous HSE standards and policies.
- Must be a Nigerian resident currently residing in Nigeria with fluent oral and written English communication skills.
