We are currently looking for a results-driven Resource Mobilisation & Development Lead to spearhead Wootlab Foundation's approach to institutional funding, philanthropy, corporate giving, donor relations, and strategic resource development, building a robust pipeline for long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Wootlab Foundation's annual and multi-year resource mobilisation strategy to build a diversified funding portfolio.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with bilateral and multilateral agencies, foundations, development finance institutions, and corporate philanthropies.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of high-quality concept notes, expressions of interest, and competitive funding proposals.
  • Initiate and manage strategic partnerships and consortium developments with NGOs, universities, and private-sector entities.
  • Collaborate with the strategic communications team to enhance institutional positioning and leverage thought leadership for donor engagement.
  • Provide executive management with actionable intelligence on emerging donor trends and development financing landscapes in Nigeria and West Africa.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in International Development, Economics, Business, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in resource mobilisation, institutional fundraising, donor relations, or philanthropy within Africa's development sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of securing significant funding and developing successful proposals for major institutional donors.
  • Strong understanding of bilateral, multilateral, and philanthropic funding ecosystems, particularly within the West African market.
  • Exceptional proposal-writing, concept-note development, research, relationship-management, and negotiation skills.
