About the Role
SPIE Oil & Gas Services is looking for a dedicated Resident Site Engineering Superintendent (RSES-D) to join our dynamic workforce in Bonny, Nigeria. In this critical on-site role, you will act as the primary company representative, guaranteeing that all construction works strictly comply with project objectives, HSE standards, ISO 14001 requirements, and technical specifications. You will play a pivotal part in maintaining our legacy of operational excellence across major oil and gas developments.
Key Responsibilities- Exercise delegated RSES authority within the assigned perimeter, ensuring absolute adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate interfaces between construction, commissioning, production, and simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).
- Manage the Permit to Work system and authorize work only after verifying appropriate risk control measures.
- Supervise Temporary Construction Camp (TCC) security, management, and Personnel on Board (POB) controls.
- Enforce Company Golden Rules and drive safety reporting, maintaining a minimum of 25 anomaly reports annually.
- Monitor contractor physical progress, review execution hours, and ensure accurate weekly reporting.
- Anticipate operational risks, manage change implementations, and resolve technical issues within contractual frameworks.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in multidisciplinary construction activities within the oil and gas industry.
- Proven expertise in Brownfield and SIMOPS project environments.
- Demonstrated strong HSE leadership, authority, and commitment to environmental management systems.
- Exceptional coordination, interface management, and risk anticipation skills.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering documents and oversee progress reporting.
