About the Role
Alan & Grant is partnering with an indigenous Oil and Gas Engineering and Construction company to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Project Engineer. In this role, you will provide critical technical and engineering support throughout the planning and execution of oil and gas pipeline and facilities projects, ensuring adherence to the highest industry standards and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation across multiple disciplines.
- Support project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and continuous progress monitoring.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams to promptly resolve technical queries.
- Monitor project execution to guarantee compliance with approved designs, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Identify design discrepancies, technical risks, and construction challenges, providing effective engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with construction, HSE, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant engineering or project execution experience within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, technical specifications, and project management processes.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, or IEC.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Working knowledge of project scheduling tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is a strong advantage.
